What is Bergamot

Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) is a citrus fruit known for its unique and unusual aroma. The Bergamot essential oil is extracted from the outer rind of the fruit by cold pressing.

The rounded fruit of this tree boasts an ancient history as well as the Bergamot essential oil, used for its characteristic fragrance in the preparation of food and drink and in the production of perfumes and soaps. Properties of Bergamot
